Can copper really take a life? Mental Health Advocate and Copper Toxicity Expert Deb Sheesley Tokarz learned the hard way that it can.

Now through her book I Cu Copper, speaking engagements, and social media, Deb helps us understand the danger high concentrations of this metal represent.

Deb understands both the depths of struggle and the joy of real healing. Her inspiring journey from pain to progress includes being misdiagnosed with mental illness, self-harm, fighting to move past suicidal thoughts, and more.

About the Guest:

Deb Sheesley Tokarz is an author and advocate for alternative mental health treatment. Her work involves sharing her personal experience with copper toxicity and being misdiagnosed with mental illness. Deb's book, "I Cu Copper," has been recognized in the Northwest Herald, and she's written articles for Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and Safe Harbor Alternative Treatment. She has also been a guest on Radio Health Journal, WCGO Chicago Radio, and Eat For Life Health Podcasts. In addition, she was a guest speaker at an Integrative Mental Health Summit alongside mental health medical professionals. Deb has also written a chapter in the multi-authored book "Aligned Leaders," where she shares more about her evolving healing journey after getting the heavy metal out of her body. Deb's mission is to create awareness and provide hope for others during their healing journey as she advocates for testing and targeted treatment of root causes.
