Just to be honest with you- I actually named this show back before the pandemic. Everything is a dystopia, and we’re all cyborgs, so I’m just shooting for the widest possible demographic. Today I talk to my friend Adam, who is a bass player and musician with the Mineapolis-based band The Right Here. They’re on Spotify and they have a website at Therighthere.com - they’re rock’n and kinda country a bit and if I were to put my own flavor on their description, I’d say they’re evoking some kind of Springsteen-esque ethos but I’m not exactly sure why. Anyway, my pal Adam and I talk about Roller Derby in Minnesota where we both skated for the Twin Cities Roller Derby all gender team The Terrors, formerly known as Minnesota Men’s Roller Derby, formerly known as The Twin Cities Terrors.

Adam aka Smalls aka Lakenstein and I talk about roller derby and politics and cooking. So I hope you’ll stick around and give our little chat a listen. I don’t have sponsors for this show, but if I could give an un-paid-for plug, I’d say please check out Time Bomb Vintage if you’re here in the Twin Cities. They’re located on Main Street and you can find them online and facebook and instagram and they have great very cool nostalgia things. My friend Dallas who is one of the founders and owners of TimeBomb just made a lifesize creation of IG-11 the robot from that Star Wars show on Disney Plus - The Mandalorian. So if you’re cool with wearing a mask and going to visit a local business, please go pop in there. That’s Time Bomb Vintage off of East Lake in Minneapolis. Look ‘em up. timebombvintage.com
