During his Question Time appearance, Laurence Fox, an actor, claimed that Britain is generally 'a tolerant place' (it is). As a result, he was called a 'white privileged male' by a 'professor of race and ethnicity', actors called for him to be banned from acting, unions denounced him as a 'disgrace', there was mass social media outrage...etc etc.
But, he literally didn't say anything bigoted at all. On the whole, Britain is incredibly tolerant, a fact that a vast majority of immigrants to this country agree with.
In this episode Max tries to determine how we've reached this strange point.
