This week we continue looking at cases where employers have accused their staff of breaching the ‘mutual trust and confidence’ duty, paying particular attention to reputational harm. To explain how this breach can affect you, we use two contrasting employment tribunal cases, which have two different outcomes for the worker.
It's our view, that the more you are able to acquaint yourself with your employment rights in this area, the more your rights will act as an early warning system, which you can use to spot bad treatment or illegal treatment that you may be suffering at work.
