Tisha Schuller welcomes Matt Gallagher, president and CEO of Greenlake Energy Ventures, to the Real Decarbonization podcast. Listeners will hear Matt’s thoughts on Tisha’s new book, Real Decarbonization, and what comes next for current and emerging oil and gas leaders.
Matt started his career as an engineer at Pioneer Natural Resources in 2005. Five years later, he joined Parsley Energy to build the engineering department. He held many roles at Parsley, including vice president, COO, and president, before becoming CEO in 2019. At the start of 2021, Matt founded Greenlake Energy Ventures and leads as president and CEO. He also serves on the boards of Pioneer and Chesapeake Energy. Matt has a B.S. in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
