On THIS episode of Demolition Daiei, we put some emphasis on the "water" part with Return of Daimajin, the second in a 1966 trilogy of period piece kaiju films. We've got samurai, we've got an old island, and we've got a giant pissed off statue down to lay waste to the whole situation. We're here to discuss the ins and outs of this story and just how successful it was at mixing two genres important to Japanese cinema.

Join us next time for DAIMAJIN STRIKES AGAIN. (seriously double-check that title.)
