What a treat hosting one of the best and beautiful couples that I know, Kim & Gregg Carlin.
Kim, being a southern girl and all, kicks off our conversation by sharing her love of country music and explains why she gravitates to the likes of Chris Stapleton, Toby Keith, George Strait, and Willie Nelson, to name a few. She even comes clean explaining that the night after we recorded this episode, she’ll be at Madison Square Garden with “another man” seeing the Chris Stapleton concert. No worries of a Coldplay Kiss Cam moment though since that other man is, in fact, her son Hamilton ;)
Then we shift over to Gregg’s muscial tastes, which tends to be in the ‘70’s genre. And we touch on how Gregg and my wife, Margaret, could change the world if they teamed up on Name That Tune. He reveals his talent for impersonations, so keep an ear out for a cameo appearance by Christopher Walken, among others.
We relive our trip to Cabo with who we now call The Cabo Crew and I share how that trip helped lighten my soul after having lost my father only a few weeks prior. Good friends, sunshine, tequila, and perhaps a taste of “chocolate” is all good healing medecine.
