One of the most important books in my life has been The Four Agreements, by Don Miguel Ruiz. For decades, it has helped move ever more towards becoming a better, more self-possessed, peaceful, and loving person. As with much wisdom, the four agreements are easy to remember, but difficult to embody. They are aspirational - the more we embody them, the better our lives become. They have helped me navigate difficult life circumstances and manage my attitude. The understanding I've developed through their application is a contributing factor to the creation of The Eye of Power model. If you're not familiar - do yourself a favor and not only obtain and read this book, but do what you can to adhere to these precepts. You will not regret it!
