Welcome back to Reignite Your Radiance™. On Day 1, I shared about growing up in a harsh household and finding escape through clothes. On Day 2, I opened up about early marriage, kids, losing myself, and how choosing to have a tummy tuck gave me back confidence in my body.

Today, I want to take you into another chapter: life after my second divorce. This was a time when I finally began to learn how to fill my own cup, instead of waiting for someone else to do it for me.”

“After my second divorce, I was standing at a crossroads. I had been through so much—heartbreak, rebuilding, trying to piece myself together. Yes, I had done things for my body, but emotionally and spiritually, I still felt empty.

Then one night, I watched the movie Dangerous Beauty. There was something about it—the way beauty, pleasure, and self-care were portrayed as an art form—that woke something up in me. It inspired me to learn how to pamper myself, to treat myself like I was worthy, even when I didn’t feel that way inside.

Up until then, I was always looking for others to fill me up—through relationships, validation, or love. But that film became a turning point. It sparked a realization: I have to learn to fill myself.

“I began practicing self-care as a ritual, not just a routine. Baths, beauty, flowers, music—things that made me feel alive and feminine again.

But it wasn’t just surface-level. Around this time, I also deepened my relationship with God. I realized that true joy doesn’t come from outside—it comes from within, and from above. I began to understand that I could be joyful even when my circumstances weren’t what I wanted them to be.

This changed everything. Suddenly, my joy wasn’t dependent on a man, a marriage, or my body—it was rooted in me, and in God.”

“What I learned in this season is that radiance comes from within. It comes from filling your own cup, nurturing your spirit, and connecting to something bigger than yourself.

When you stop waiting for someone else to give you love, and you start giving it to yourself, you shine differently. You walk differently. You attract differently. That’s when life begins to transform.”

“If you’re listening right now and you’ve been waiting for someone else to fill you—hear me: you are the cup, and you have the power to fill it. And when you do, you’ll discover a joy and radiance that can’t be taken away.

Tomorrow, I’ll share how I moved from rediscovering myself into embodying the radiant woman I am today—and how you can too.
