Today's meditation on Isaiah 40:31 completely reframes our understanding of waiting on God. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." But remember that God isn't asking you to wait alone or in vain. He's inviting you to wait with Him, close to His heart, where true strength is found. In this sacred space of waiting, He's working behind the scenes, arranging circumstances in ways our limited vision could never imagine. And when the time is right, you won't just survive your waiting season—you'll emerge from it stronger, higher, and ready to run without growing weary. This is the paradoxical power of waiting on the Lord.
