Jesus sent out the 70 into the harvest field and they were blown away at how effective they were. They said, “Even the demons are subject to us in Your name!” Jesus rejoiced when He heard this! He knew that so much was riding on the success of this endeavor and what a success it was. Just as they were sent, we too are sent! Us being sent is not a gentle nudge out of the nest — rather it’s an intentional thrust into the harvest fields. We’re equipped with everything we need and it’s time get going with all confidence knowing that He’s completely backing us.
