3.Pablo Lopez is out with a shoulder strain and will miss 8 to 12 weeks. He might be out for the season. Yikes. Tough blow to fantasy managers. Who do you think gets the starts?
a.Hunter Greene is also on the IL again. Any thoughts on who will take his starts over the next month?
b.Corbin Burnes. Uh oh. Going for a second opinion on his elbow.
4.Rob Manfred is proposing using an automated ball-strike challenge for the 2026 season. Since the league controls the rules committee, I’m assuming it will happen. What do you think?
5.Sawyer Gibson-Long is finally back and had a great matchup against the White Sox to ease back into things, but he did not pitch very well. He doesn’t throw hard but has a 70-grade slider and was pretty good in his four starts in 2023 before blowing out his elbow. I don’t recall him making a waiver wire of yours. Any interest?
6.I gave up on Lance McCullers and right on cue, he’s pitching great. Over his last four starts, he’s pitching to a 2.21 ERA with 29 strikeouts and six walks. WOW. Are you starting him with confidence?
