When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. I miss the dark comedy films of the 90s and 00s. Granted yes culture and humor have shifted as they do when time passes, but man there are some hidden film gems to uncover. That leads me to Saved!, probably one of the funniest and darkest comedies with just an incredible all-star cast.
Me and Mikey talk about how the script is just filled with incredible one-liners and hilarious sequences. There is nothing more perfect than an out of control evangelical Mandy Moore on this never ending crusade to save everyone and a delightfully devious Macaulay Culkin. We get into other films in this genre we love, read hilarious Letterboxd reviews, and how we love a fashion makeover montage no matter what.
