John 11 recounts the story of the death and resurrection of Lazarus. The chapter highlights themes of faith and belief, particularly through the interactions between Jesus, Martha, and Mary. When Lazarus falls ill, his sisters Martha and Mary send word to Jesus. Despite his love for Lazarus, Jesus delays his visit, ultimately arriving four days after Lazarus's death.
