Les Silver was most recently Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Service Repair Solutions Inc (SRS) of Nevada. SRS provided software and services to 50,000+ dealership and aftermarket repair shops to assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, presenting and selling additional needed repairs and maintaining contact with vehicle owners to retain them as service customers. SRS was a Warburg Pincus portfolio company and was sold to Welsh Carson in July 2013.

Prior to SRS, Les also Founded Newgen Results Corporation in San Diego CA where he also served as the CEO and President. Newgen invented the `Closed Loop’ automotive service retention business and provided its program to over 6,000 dealership. Les took Newgen public via an IPO in 1999 – the company was then acquired by TeleTech in 2001. Both these companies realized a combined return of $750M for its shareholders.

Early in his career, Les was Vice-President for Western Canada for SHL Systemhouse, a custom software development and systems integration company based in Ottawa Canada. Les received his MSc in Computer Science and BSc in Mathematics from the University of Manitoba.
