Do you ever collapse into bed completely exhausted… but instead of going to sleep, you grab your phone for “just a minute,” and suddenly, it’s been an hour? Or maybe you tell yourself you’ll watch just one more episode, only to realize it’s way past your bedtime? If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

This is called revenge bedtime procrastination—and it’s what happens when we delay sleep to reclaim some personal time, even when we know it’ll leave us drained the next day. As busy moms, we give so much of ourselves during the day that when the house is finally quiet, we crave that little slice of “me time”… even if it comes at the cost of a good night’s sleep.

In this episode of the FLO into Health Podcast, I talk about:

  • What revenge bedtime procrastination is and why we do it
  • How stress and overwhelm fuel this habit
  • 4 simple ways to take back your evenings without sacrificing rest

If you’re tired of waking up feeling drained and frustrated with yourself for staying up too late, this episode will show you how to create space for rest and personal time, without burning yourself out.

I’d love to hear from you! If you have any questions or have ideas for a future episode, please get in touch with [email protected]
