On this episode, Jake and Sarah Gilbreath sit down with Melissa Hammerle—mother of four, military wife, and advocate for families raising children with special needs. Melissa shares her journey of parenting two children with complex medical and developmental challenges, including autism, epilepsy, and a rare heart condition. She opens up about the difficult decisions parents in similar situations face, from medical treatments to educational choices, as well as the financial and emotional toll of raising special needs kids.

Melissa also discusses the inspiration behind her social media presence, web site and blog, Melissa in Chaos, where she provides insight, support, and humor to families navigating similar challenges.
