In this episode, I go into how osteoporosis can really affect both our physical health and how confident we feel in our bodies. I talk about why it's so important to build movement confidence and reconnect with ourselves, especially through yoga, to help us trust our bodies again. I introduce the idea of an "internal GPS," or the sensory motor loop that's key for our brain and body to communicate well. I share some practical tips to boost proprioception and interoception, clear up some common myths about osteoporosis, and talk about my "Yoga and Osteoporosis" program. My goal is to help you feel empowered to improve your bone health and overall well-being through mindful movement.
