Father Christmas can’t personally attend all his press obligations in the run-up to the big day. So, in traditional fashion, he sent one of his trusted helpers. Kevin Coates is Matthew Frost’s guest on this year’s festive Fully Scored. Kevin is the Band Manager for the International Staff Band and tells us about this role and his career in military music which preceded his appointment to the ISB.

Australian composer Noel Jones talks about his march, Christmas Praise, which must be one of the most-played marches by Salvation Army bands all over the world.

The members of the Fully Scored creative team are this month’s guests on the Arid Island. Andrew Blyth and Simon Gash reveal what album they’d take if planning a trip to the Arid Island over Christmas.

Regular features, Band Manager, Sparsely Scored and Bandmastermind complete another episode.
