In this podcast, Dr. Kurt Woeller interviews Doug Stephey, OD. Dr. Doug is an optometrist who specializes in evaluating and assisting with complex visual system problems through the implementation of vision therapy, including color and prism lenses. Correcting for these visual system imbalances, individuals with other health conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety/panic, headaches, fatigue, etc. are often improved.
Doug Stephey, OD is an optometrist with a master's degree in education. Dr. Stephey practices wholistic eye care. If you want to understand the whole person, you must understand their visual system. If you want to understand their visual system, you must understand the whole person. Regardless of one's diagnosis: autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, panic / anxiety, migraine, tension headache, TMJ, bipolar, schizophrenia, clumsiness, motion sickness, dizziness, vertigo, OCD, ODD, and more there's likely a role being played by the visual system.
