There is no peak that can’t be conquered. Nina's life is worthy of a Hollywood movie about Adventure and Science as if it was written by Jules Verne personally. She grew up on Grmeč mountain in Bosnia & Herzegovina where she fell in love with mountains and nature. She survived a Taliban attack, lost a loved one, saved the life of a rugby player, received significant honors, spent 3 days in a Pakistani jail, and climbed numerous mountains around the world.
Currently, she is working on projects integrating technology such as VR into the educational ecosystem to help climate literacy. She is super enthusiastic about scientific expedition in extreme environments, educational technology, and data analysis.
