James Barnett is a research fellow at Hudson Institute, based in Lagos, Nigeria, where he studies conflict, terrorism, and geopolitics in Africa, as well as a research fellow at the Centre for Democracy and Development, based in Abuja. Barnett has written for a number of publications and research journals and is currently an editor of Hudson Institute’s journal, Current Trends in Islamist Ideology.
