Take a moment today to get present and gauge your level of commitment to downtime. If you're overwhelmed, running hard all the time and/or just can't seem to make time to slow down, here's 3 things you can do before you burn out: 1.) Sleep - get at least 6-8hrs. 2.) Vacation - schedule at least 1-2 weeks off every year; in the short-term, block 2-3 days every month where you simply step away and shut down to rest and revitalize. 3.) Breaks - take at least 3 breaks throughout the day. Walk, breathe, meditate, etc... just be sure you take breaks to clear your mind and reset regularly. If you want to get there fast, sometimes you need to slow down. Perhaps it's YOUR TIME for some daily DOWNTIME!
