Although some of the work it takes to make that difference can be frustrating, challenging and uncomfortable, the destination and that opportunity remain highly desirable to you. Remember that when times get tough, and be sure to make the distinction between what you're trying to accomplish and the tasks and procedures it will take to get there. Sometimes it is challenging to be excited and enthusiastic about certain aspects of your work.
