How are you giving others the opportunity to participate in your journey of generosity?

In this episode, Jeff, Jeff, and Matt discuss:

  • Desiring to do more and seeing God’s blessings in life’s challenges.
  • Being willing to take risks and do anything necessary.
  • Balancing life priorities with growing a business.
  • Encouraging employees and family to engage in generosity and giving.
  • Doing the work with God, not on your own.

Key Takeaways:

  • Growing your business is important, but not more important than your faith, your family, and your health. When those are going well, your business will grow.
  • Get into peer groups and mentorships as soon as you can.
  • Even when opportunities are given to you, they do require work. When you can give back, share opportunities with others.
  • Look for opportunities to give that are unique to your business and position.

"Balance - work towards it as early on in your career as you possibly can. You won’t regret it. The work, the customer relationships, it will all take care of itself if you can focus and get your priorities straight and work on your faith, your relationships with your family, and with your spouse in particular." — Matthew Hiltz
