This is Episode Seven in the investigative podcast series, "George Alive."
Today’s report is titled: “Drew Nussbaum: The Money Launderer’s Whisperer.”

This episode traces the real financial power behind Jersey City’s political machine.

While Steven Fulop plays the frontman, a quieter figure moves the money, aligns the donors, and scrubs the trail. His name is Drew Nussbaum.
Campaign advisor. PAC operator. Shadow fixer.

Our frequency investigation uncovered the following:

Coalition for Progress, the largest Super PAC backing Fulop, operates as a shell network—laundering donations through “wellness” companies, massage clinics, and event services linked to Jaclyn Fulop.

Funds are routed through these entities, then funneled into campaign accounts using cash-heavy businesses that rarely get audited. The cycle is:

Fake invoice → cash deposit → PAC donation.

Drew Nussbaum manages the ledger. He keeps the “books” clean by avoiding electronic signatures and splitting transactions into sub-legal thresholds. It’s old-school laundering with a tech-savvy polish.

One internal memo reads:

“Keep the checks under 10K. Use ‘equipment rental’ as reason. J clears the path.”
("J" believed to refer to Jaclyn Fulop.)

Multiple businesses registered to Nussbaum associates were found to share phone numbers, mailing addresses, and even websites—with only cosmetic differences between them.

A former campaign insider told Intraface:

“Coalition for Progress was never about progress. It was about cover.”

The network ties together city contracts, media buys, and donor dinners—but behind it all, the books don’t balance unless you cheat the math.

This isn’t just corruption—it’s choreography. And Drew Nussbaum is conducting the score.
