When compared to many other developed, free market nations, Australia’s healthcare system is pretty enviable.

Don’t get us wrong, it has its problems; its staff are frequently overworked and underpaid, and not everyone receives the care that they should. Even so, if you’re uninsured and face a life-threatening injury, your treatment generally won’t leave you bankrupt. So with all of this in mind, do Australians REALLY need private health insurance?

Well, as this episode will explore, private health insurance stretches far beyond life and death. In fact, depending on your circumstances, it can yield a range of benefits – from “discounted dental” to “bigger tax refund”. If you’ve been wondering about taking the Private Health Plunge, you’ll find this session useful.
