While sports are vital to most college experiences, HBCUs generally put the actual game at the bottom of the Homecoming list. But, as more of our top athletes commit to Black colleges and Universities and social justice conversations play out on and off the court, it's time to dive into the link between sports culture and Black culture today. We’re talking about what it means to be Black in sports, why Black women seem to be left behind even though we are always first, and how we set ourselves up for success after the stadium lights turn down.
