Hello, everyone! Welcome to Gaming Horizon. I’m Samantha Yates, and today we’re talking about the most anticipated game in years—Grand Theft Auto 6, or GTA 6.

Let’s get straight to the big question:

When is GTA 6 coming out?
Rockstar Games has officially announced a release window of Fall 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release is expected later, likely in 2026.

There’s been a lot of speculation about the exact date.
Some industry insiders and leakers suggest November 2025, which makes sense since Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, is also releasing Borderlands 4 in September.
They probably want to give both games some space.

So far, Rockstar has only released one trailer, back in December 2023.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the second trailer, rumored to drop in May 2025.
The long gap between trailers has sparked rumors of delays, but nothing official has changed.

Take-Two’s CEO has repeatedly confirmed the Fall 2025 window in recent financial calls.
He did mention that delays are always possible, but as of now, the plan is still Fall 2025.

If there’s going to be a delay, we’ll likely hear about it during Take-Two’s next earnings call in May.
If they stick to the Fall 2025 window then, it’s a good sign the game will launch on time.

Why is the release date so important?
GTA 6 is expected to be one of the biggest entertainment launches ever.
A Fall release means Rockstar can take advantage of the holiday shopping season.

The game itself is set in a modern-day Vice City, inspired by Miami, and features two main characters, including the series’ first female protagonist.
The map is rumored to be huge, with multiple cities, swamps, and even wildlife.

Rockstar is known for big marketing campaigns, so expect to see more trailers, ads, and pre-order announcements soon.
Once pre-orders open, we’ll probably get the exact release date.

To sum up:

  1. GTA 6 is officially set for Fall 2025 on consoles, with a PC version to follow.
  2. Rumors point to a November release, but nothing is confirmed yet.
  3. Keep an eye on Rockstar’s announcements and Take-Two’s May earnings call for updates.

That’s all for today’s episode of Gaming Horizon.
Thanks for tuning in!
