Bill Phillips says "I always tell my clients, I want your site to be the stickiest place on Earth, your site needs to be the special place. And so I can make your site this special place, then it's just a matter of pulling all the levers I can to get them to your site. And once you're there, I know they're in a special place, and if they're safe in that special place, they're eventually going to find the stuff you do. They're going to find the stuff you sell the services you offer. "

After a career in magazines like Popular Mechanics and Men's Health, Bill realized there was no need for the "middle man" in the equation that put products and services in front of customers and he began his career as a content strategist. We talk about his service journalism philosophy and, as always, tactics, philosophy, and ethics.
