Host Samantha and co-host Anthony talk about a subject that is close to their heart: grief. Buckle up, because today we're diving into the kind of loss no one warns you about.
It is one of my favorite things to explore, and not because I enjoy sadness, but because grieving is something most of us are not taught how to do. There is so much more to it than just mourning a death. Loss takes many forms, and as we grow, we experience more of it than we might realize.

This isn’t the kind of grief that comes from losing a loved one. Losses come with transformation. When you evolve, parts of your identity shift. Relationships change. Some fade entirely. There is grief in outgrowing old versions of yourself and stepping into something new.

A lot of people who listen to this podcast are on a path of self-discovery. Whether it is through spiritual growth, personal development, or deepening self-awareness, change is inevitable. And with that change comes loss. You might realize that friendships that once felt effortless now feel distant. Conversations that used to be easy now seem forced. There is a quiet heartbreak in recognizing that certain relationships no longer align with who you are becoming.

For me, that loss has been one of the hardest to process. I have lost friendships, a marriage, and versions of myself I once felt so attached to. I have had to grieve the life I thought I was going to live and the expectations I had for how things were supposed to go. There is an ache in realizing that certain dreams no longer fit. There is grief in making choices that honor your growth but distance you from people you once held close.
Tune in for a meditation on grief at the 35 minute mark... you may let go of way more than you thought you were holding.
