Donald Trump's on a trip though the Middle East, and on his first stop in Saudi Arabia today, he's said America's ties with the repressive kingdom are "more powerful than ever before".
He's also signed a $US142 billion defence deal with the Saudi crown prince, and agreed to lift US sanctions on Syria.
So what does all the wheeling and dealing mean?
