Victor Zeitoune is a New York City based distance runner. He has run countless marathons, including Disney, Boston and NYC. He also completed the Speed Project, an unsanctioned race from LA to Vegas, not once, but twice. In 2024, he and his teammates relay ran the distance in memory of their late friend, Sam Norton. In 2025, Victor decided to tackle the 300+ miles solo.

In the episode, Victor shares about these race experiences as well as the group he runs with every Thursday morning, the Almost Friday Run Club. Throughout these experiences, Victor’s stories always come back to community, friendship, and lifting others up through running. Whether you’re an aspiring, novice, or seasoned runner, Victor’s episode is sure to inspire you to look outside yourself for a reason to lace up your shoes.

Keep up with Victor’s future races on Instagram @vic_zee and run with Almost Friday Run Club on Thursday mornings in NYC, Boston, San Francisco & DC @almostfridayrunclub. Watch the Youtube Documentary, “If it Hurts, Good - A Story of Friendship, Loss, and Running” HERE.
