Dr Auste Simkute recently completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh. Auste studied how people learn and interact with AI tools at work and educations settings. She worked with researchers at the BBC, Microsoft and The Department for Culture, Media and Sport exploring human AI interactions.

Auste’s background is in Psychology, so in her research, she is focusing predominantly on humans using the new technologies rather than AI tools.
