Studies show that a particular group of chemicals called endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) can have negative effects on female and male reproductive health.

Our guest today is Shala Salem, MD. Dr. Salem is an Integrative Gynecologist with over a decade of experience. After completing OB GYN residency in Brooklyn, New York, she completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under the guidance of Dr. Andrew Weil.

She currently practices in Southern California at a fertility clinic where she helps patients to optimize their fertility through an integrative approach.

Dr. Salem is a mom of three, and a PCOS warrior who has used both conventional and integrative fertility treatments to help her conceive. She is also an expert on environmental toxins and fertility.
