As a newly married couple, Heather Day and her husband Robert found themselves in debt. Through prayerful surrender, the Lord navigated them out of that pit.
The myth that our worth comes from material possessions keeps so many in bondage. Heather emphasizes that we do not need to strong-arm ourselves into better financial practices. A disordered relationship with money can be healed by placing our confidence, self-worth and hope for provision in God the Father. It is then that healthy financial behaviors will follow.
