Thinking that naming phonics skills is too dry for your kiddo? Not at all! Your child will feel like a big kid learning specific terms for phonics skills she learns, so let’s call specific phonics skills by name. It’s actually important to name the phonics skill you're modeling and asking your child to practice, so that you can build an efficient phonics routine in your homeschool reading block.
