In the sleepy town of Centerville, something is… off. Daylight lasts longer than it should, animals act strangely, and people begin disappearing. Local police officers Cliff (Bill Murray), Ronnie (Adam Driver), and Mindy (Chloë Sevigny) soon discover the horrifying truth: the dead aren’t staying dead. As a zombie outbreak spreads, the quirky townspeople—including a sword-wielding mortician (Tilda Swinton) and a wandering hermit (Tom Waits)—must fight to survive in this absurdist, meta-heavy take on the zombie apocalypse.
