Our next guest is one of the most famous voices of #SkinTok, with a following of over 1.2 million on TikTok. Her name is Mamina Turegano, MD, and she is a triple board-certified dermatologist, internist, and dermatopathologist who practices in the greater New Orleans area and specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Turegano completed a five-year double residency program in internal medicine and dermatology and served as chief resident at Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She then completed her fellowship in dermatopathology at UCLA. She is also a graduate of the LearnSkin Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program. She’s been treating dermatology patients for 15 years and has been in private practice for 10 years. Dr. Turegano is especially interested in evaluating how nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, and other environmental factors can significantly influence inflammation, aging, and cancer.

Through her social media platforms, she provides skincare tips and knowledge on dermatological conditions. She also shares her Japanese mom’s anti-aging tips, which incorporate holistic and traditional Japanese beauty practices.
