The role of women in the church has unfortunately become one of controversy in some places. Guest speaker Tim Hanna takes us through how we engage with Scripture about this topic and where the weight of Scripture leads us. And why it need not be divisive, but rather enhancing for the church. Tim has spent 30 years in local church ministry in Australia, leading local churches in a number of states as well as lecturing at Theological College and in the church leadership space with Willow Creek Australia. He also spent ten years as CEO of Compassion Australia. Since then Tim has been involved in coaching and consulting and is currently the Chairman of Council, of Churches of Christ Queensland. His own experience and opportunities have given him a passion to help leaders flourish in their own leadership roles. Tim is married to Chris and they have nine children, 26 grandchildren and he loves those sometimes crazy, family times. He is also a sports tragic, enjoying most sports, and doesn’t mind a good coffee.
