The best time to scout for fall of 2025 is now. The scrapes and rubs from this past rut are still visible. If the ground is wet from snow or rain, then trails that deer are using today will be easy to identify. And, any encounter with deer while scouting will reveal to you an area that they believe to be relatively safe.
