Megan has never seen a MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movie. Dan and Stephen are making her watch ALL OF THEM. That’s right, as the final (?) film in the series quickly approaches, we will be going through the ultimate preparatory task. It sounds impossible, but we’ll succeed, just like Ethan Hunt and the IMF gang! We have plenty of time, so this won’t be a back-to-back-to-back project, but expect plenty of M:I talk over the coming year or so.

This time we’re talking Rogue Nation, the entry that brings Christopher McQuarrie to the director’s chair, securing his job as the man who will bring this series across the finish line. We talk about the film’s unique structure, the locking in of the team dynamic, and the introduction of Rebecca Ferguson’s Ilsa Faust, the English counterpart to Ethan Hunt, and owner of the coolest name in all of fiction.
