7. US Army to Upgrade M270 MLRS Launchers to the A2 Variant. The A2 variant features an improved fire control system, a new 600-horsepower engine, an armored cab, and a new transmission- plus other system components.
Work will take place in Texas and Arkansas, with an estimated completion date of December 30, 2030.
