BIKE SHORTS Episode 2: In this episode, we get a 2-for-1 with adventure dad Frank Hwang and his rad daughter Callen. We’d been trying to connect for the better part of 2022, and on a beautiful day in late September it finally worked out. Sitting in their garage, surrounded by all the fun “toys” of a family that loves the outdoors, we start with Frank on the mic where he shares two short stories, both involving the pain and hilarity that surrounds an arduous hill climb. Next up, 13 year old Callen Hwang shares her unique perspective and memories of first bikes, the amazing fun that a full-suspension can bring, and that even a nasty crash will only slow her down momentarily. --

WHAT IS BIKE SHORTS? I often chat with fellow cyclists that say they don’t have enough bike-related stories to fill a full episode, so the idea of BIKE SHORTS was born! Still a bit rough around the edges, I hope you find it interesting and follow along as I work through the process.
