Christopher Adam Williams, The Black Davinci, is a painter and illustrator passionate about art and mental health. Christopher is a visual artist whose practices utilize portraiture and figurative painting to convey complex narratives, including race and gender. Born in Oakland, California, and landing in San Francisco and Philadelphia. His works have appeared in several gallery shows, including The L Word Generation Q Season 2 and 3. Opening many opportunities for the arts with the Medical Response Center and the Alameda Wellness campaign.
Christopher holds a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and a Master's in Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute, earning Best in Show, MFA, and a finalist for the Headlands Arts Center Graduate Residency—2020, Winner of the Black Artists Fund Sower award, and 2022 AICAD Fellow.
