THIS VOYAGE, the Treksperts, MARK A. ALTMAN (author, The Fifty Year Mission, writer/producer, Pandora, Agent X, The Librarians, writer/producer Free Enterprise), DAREN DOCHTERMAN (associate producer, Star Trek: The Motion Picture) and ASHLEY E. MILLER (showrunner; DOTA: Dragon's Blood, writer, X-Men: First Class, Thor) remember ROBERTO ORCI who sadly passed away February 25, 2025. To honor his contributions to Star Trek as well as cinema, we’ve assembled a group of fellow writers who worked closely with him over the years including JESSE ALEXANDER, a writer and showrunner for such shows as Hannibal, Lost, Heroes and worked with Roberto and his writing partner at the time Alex Kurtzman on Alias. STEVEN MELCHING is a writer for such shows as The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, X-Men: The Animated Series and Big Guy & Rusty The Boy Robot and worked with Orci on the Transformers: Prime animated series. Our own ASHLEY E. MILLER worked with him on Fringe and later developed Power Rangers and the follow-up to Star Trek Into Darkness with him for Skydance which Orci was set to direct.
