She has worked in maternal child health for over 25 years and is Co-Founder of the Unplug Collaborative, a non-profit and home to the Global (formerly National) Day of Unplugging, the Unplugged Village® Initiative and Unplug for a Cause®.

Claudia earned her bachelor’s degree in social work and master’s in public health from San Diego State University. Having raised kids (digital natives) she understands it’s not an easy task to help them find life-tech balance and believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to this issue. She is on a mission to help people develop a new relationship with technology, to make unplugging fun and to show people that it’s not about what you are missing, rather it’s all about what you can gain.
