Julissa Alvarez is the Vice President, Board of Advisory for the Lehman College Alumni Association She has led important initiatives, most recently, the development of the first endowed alum association scholarship fund. She is an Associate Director for Faculty Affairs at NYU Steinhardt School of Education She is currently the Associate Director for Faculty Affairs at the NYU Steinhardt School of Education. That’s not enough; Julissa is also one of the founders, together with her husband, of an Amazon logistics company where Julissa is the CEO and oversees over 120 employees. Through this company, she has offered job opportunities in her community by making jobs available (full-time and part-time) for people of all ages and walks of life. This multimillion-dollar company has created over 350 jobs since 2020. She is also the CEO and founder of Brimela Routes luxury Event rentals in the Dominican Republic, creating jobs in the DR.
