He is the best-selling author of several books, including Not Everyone Gets a Trophy and The Art of Being Indispensable at Work, and has written for publications like The New York Times and Harvard Business Review.

During our discussion, Bruce explained his three proven methods for inspiring greatness in team members:

  1. Understanding that it’s okay to be the boss
  2. Building real influence, practicing extreme alignment, getting more of the right things done, and beating overcommitment syndrome
  3. Adapting to the needs of a changing workforce
