In our fifth episode of Inspiring Viking Values we interviewed Mrs. Hillary Kretz-Harvey, the acting principal of Grand Island High School. Mrs. Kretz-Harvey shared information regarding their "Professional Reflective Practice and Classroom Circle strategies" utilized at Grand Island High School. In this episode, we had some special guests join in on the conversation. Mrs. Amy Flynn (Math) and Miss. Arielle Davidson (English) are classroom teachers who are trying the Circle strategies within their classes and they also participate in reflective professional development circles with their fellow peers. Additionally, Fortune Macri joined us in this episode. Fortune is an 11th grade student in Mrs. Flynn's class. He shared information about the community circle activities he has participated in during the school year. One more thing...I would like to thank Mrs. Mernitz and her students for singing the Grand Island Alma Mater. It is featured at the end of the podcast.
